The Lung Health Committee at the RFC works primarily to engage and empower community members to take control of their lung health. Our volunteers work with each patient to develop a personalized action plan for their lung health such as quitting smoking, managing their asthma, or developing a course to maintain their lung health. Patients are given materials such as nicotine replacements, asthma medications, educational pamphlets, and ever-growing lists of other resources to support their plans. We tailor strategies to fit each patient's needs and adjust accordingly based on the patient's progress.
