Q: What’s your specialty and how long have you been working in it?
A: I am a Family Medicine Physician and I graduated in 2013.
Q: What keeps you coming back to clinic?
A: The patients are so grateful and the students are so enthusiastic about giving care. It really reenergizes me. Even though it’s after hours, it’s more invigorating rather than work.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about clinic?
A: I love seeing the enthusiasm of the students and being a part of something that reaches out to people who are often forgotten.
Q: Why did you choose Riverside?
A: Riverside is my hometown. I have been in the area since I was 12. It’s important to me to see our community thrive.
Thank you to everybody who gives their time every week to make this clinic happen. It amazes me each time I come to see all the hard work with the positive attitude everyone brings.
Q: What’s your specialty and how long have you been working in it?
A: I have been a general dentist for about a year and a half.
Q: What keeps you coming back to clinic?
A: The reason I became a dentist was to help the needy community where I grew up in. I understand that there’s always a shortage in this area and the patients always need help. The biggest satisfaction I get is serving the community and help my patients become healthier.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about clinic?
A: There’s not much paperwork involved, no paycheck stubs, everything is completely free. There’s always an answer for a patient who needs help.
Q: Why did you choose Riverside?
A: During my college years, I was also a part of the Future Dentist Club so I knew about the program already. Once I graduated, I had free time and wanted to give back to my community and pass on the skills and knowledge to future dental students.
If you need help, we’re always here (for everything)!
Q: What’s your specialty and how long have you been working in it?
A: I have been a Family Medicine physician since 2012. I did my community medicine fellowship in 2013.
Q: What keeps you coming back to clinic?
A: It’s a place that combines two of the reasons that I enjoy being a physician: teaching eager, happy, and hardworking medical students and helping people who need help the most.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about clinic?
A: I love to see a student learns something that changes their perspective on an underserved population.
Q: Why did you choose Riverside?
A: I started coming to this clinic as a resident in Fontana Kaiser Permanente and that’s how I met Dr. Lyons. I then attended regularly and started teaching at the UCR School of Medicine in 2012. The whole Inland Empire is a big part of my life.
